The chef

Toshihiro Munemori

Chef Munemori set out to make Japanese udon that everyone in Singapore could eat, and made Fu-Men the first halal udon shop here.

Seven years on, the shop has just received a fresh two-year halal certificate. In his words: "Good job my team."
